This Privacy Policy explains how Scrim Sports ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through scrimsports.com, our quote and order forms, email and WhatsApp. By using the website you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed to run the website:
- Contact details — name, company name, business email, phone/WhatsApp number and country.
- Order and quote details — products, quantities, size breakdowns, colours, fabric and printing requirements, shipping destination and any instructions.
- Files you upload — logos, artwork and design files attached to a quote, cart item or order.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security, spam prevention and basic analytics.
How we use your information
- To prepare quotations, mock-ups, samples and production orders.
- To reply to your inquiries by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To arrange shipping and export documentation for your order.
- To send our newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To protect the website against fraud and abuse.
Inquiry data storage
Quote requests, orders and uploaded files are stored on our secure hosting server and are only accessible to authorised Scrim Sports staff. Uploaded artwork is kept in a private folder that is not publicly accessible. We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to fulfil and support your order, and for our legal and accounting obligations.
Your artwork and designs
Logos, crests and designs you send remain your property. We use them only to produce your order and do not sell, publish or reuse them for other customers. If you would like your files deleted after your order is complete, contact us.
Cookies
The website uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work: a session cookie (keeps forms secure and remembers your session) and a cart cookie (remembers your bulk-order cart for up to 30 days). If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set its own cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features such as the cart may stop working.
Data protection
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) where available, hashed passwords for staff accounts, protection against cross-site request forgery and restricted access to customer files. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Third-party services
We may use trusted third parties to operate our business, such as email providers, web hosting, Google Maps (on the contact page), WhatsApp for messaging and courier or freight companies for delivery. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their service.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you are located (for example the UK, EU or certain US states) you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us from the address you used with us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
